How do I use your service?

HeroPin is multiplatform service. You can book a service call directly from the website or download the mobile application on your tablet or smartphone. The mobile app is available on the App Store and Google Play.

Can I trust the person you are sending to my location?

Each and every Hero on the HeroPin platform goes through a background check, and we do everything we can to ensure that only trustworthy individuals get accepted. Before accepting a bid, we strongly suggest reading through each Heroes profile to see what feedback other customers have given about them.

Why are bid prices so low?

Most technical services companies charge you expensive hourly rates, and the technical staff only makes a fraction of that. We cut out the middle man, and connect you directly to the person providing the service.

Do you offer refunds?

All HeroPin services are 100% guaranteed. HeroPin will charge your card only once you choose to accept an offer from a Hero. If your Hero is late, you will be given the option to cancel your request for a full refund. Once the Hero marks that the job is complete, you will be asked to leave a review. All negative reviews are investigated by HeroPin, and dealt with on a case-by- case basis. You can also contact us by email: support@heropin.com

Why is my request not receiving any bids?

Some Heroes might feel that they are missing too much information to make an offer confidently. You can try putting more detail in the description, or responding directly to their questions in the request view. Other times, there may simply not be any Heroes with the proper qualifications available in your area. We suggest you try again at a later time.

Who can become a Hero?

Anybody of legal age with great technical skills, who enjoys working with people and technology can apply to become a Hero. You should not have a criminal record, and be prepared to complete a skills assessment. You will also need a reliable smart phone to use our mobile app.

How much will I get paid?

You will have the option to review client requests, and submit an offer to the client in the form of a fixed price. Remember, customers don’t always prefer the least expensive option, and will often pick Heroes based on how well they present themselves, and the overall strength of their profiles.

How does payment work?

HeroPin deposits funds directly into your bank account on a 10-day rolling basis.

Do I need a vehicle?

No. Not all Heroes have vehicles. However, since a vehicle often allows for more travel flexibility, we will expand the available service area for Heroes who submit proof of registration, and include a pin on their profile letting clients know that they have a vehicle.

How much do I have to work?

HeroPin allows you to mark yourself available as much or as little as you want. However, we may decide to deactivate unused accounts from time to time, and will notify you by email before that happens.

How does the Level System Work?

Clients prefer to hire and work with Heroes who have a proven track record, so we’ve built a system that rewards you in a number of different ways as you complete jobs. You can gain experience and level up, earn reviews, and unlock pins that demonstrate your expertise and reliability.

How does the application process work?

If we decide to move forward with your application, we will contact you to complete a background check, and perform a skills assessment. If you pass both of these, we will ask you to provide us with the information necessary to setup direct deposits into your bank account.
